Fear is a natural reaction to moving closer to the truth.”

Individual Therapy

When you enter therapy with me, you enter a collaborative process. My aim is to reach the root: I work with clients so that they can understand themselves better because it is through understanding that we can make meaning. I do not do symptom management and my approach is not one size fits all. Find more information about my therapeutic approach here.

I specialize in the treatment of issues such as depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, and relationship conflicts. Standard 50 minute individual mental health counseling sessions focus on exploring and gaining insight into problems leading to personal empowerment and change.

Therapy approaches that may be used: Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.

$150 for a 50 minute session.

I offer a 10 minute free phone consultation, fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page for scheduling.

Couples Therapy

When working with couples, I try to reach the root of the conflict: so much about it is facilitating ways that we can listen to one another. I am Level II trained in the Gottman Method, which is a research based method with the goal of disarming conflicting verbal communication through the increase of intimacy, respect and communication. Find more information on the Gottman Method here.

$200 for a 50 minute session.
